Reading the article “Market Economy Needs Economic Information - Recalling Shanghai Economic Information Daily” contained in “Journalism University” Spring 1998, I was very surprised. The article begins with two sentences of variant characters: “The lessons of error are often the right guides; the footprints left behind by failure are often the signposts of success.” Clearly, it tells the reader that the article Through a review of failure, pointed out or concluded a wrong lesson. The first paragraph of the article goes further and makes a more explicit statement of what it means: “It was a mistake at a time.” “Write it down, not for the sake of others, but for making us smarter and thinking a little more far.”
