赤星病属真菌类病害,是烟叶成熟期的主要病害,在国内各烟区普遍发生,危害较大。病害先从烟株下部成熟老叶开始,逐渐向上扩展蔓延。受害叶初现黄褐色或褐色园形小斑点,有明显轮纹,病斑边缘明显,外有淡黄色的晕环。赤星病导致烟叶叶片破碎,降低烟叶等级,烟叶品质下降,甚至丧失经济价值。近几年由于没有较好的抗赤星病的品种应用于生产等原因,赤星病日益严重。中国烟草总公司
