第一部份目前形势在国际形势上最重要的一件大事就是全世界劳动人民的导师、中国人民最亲密的朋友斯大林同志于三月五日逝世的悲痛事件。这是马克思、恩格斯、列宁逝世以后的最大一个损失,这对苏联人民、中国人民和整个爱好和平人民是无一比拟的沉痛和不可计量的损失,我们的敌人帝国主义对此采取幸灾乐祸的态度,他们大肆造谣,企图挑拨爱好和平的各国人民的关系,企图藉此分裂和平民主阵营,达到他们孤立苏联、侵略全世界的迷梦;但事实和他们的妄想是完全相反的,和平民主的各国人民都是一定会更加团结、更加巩固舆苏联的合作,毛主席说:「中国人民一定会以最大的坚定性和伟大苏联人民永远团结一致,巩固并加强以联联为首的和平民主阵营,加倍努力,打击战争挑拨者,为苏中两国人民的永久利益和世界和平与安全而奋斗到底」。这就是我们革命事业的根本任务,这就是对帝国主义野心家的回答。
