有人认为,工伤事故发生率较低,参加工伤保险是多此一举。事实是怎样的呢?最近,我们对湖北省应城市工伤保险的实施情况进行了调查走访。该市从1994年7月开始实施工伤保险,并与企业养老保险捆在一起同时实施,对扩大工伤保险的实施范围,保障职工合法权益,均衡企业负担、促进企业参与市场平等竞争起到了积极作用。但我们也发现少数企业心存侥幸,或逃避参保、或躲避管理,给工伤职工利益造成巨大损害,同时也给企业正常生产经营带来很大影响。
