王学仲,1925年生,山东省滕县人,1942年考入北京京华美术学院国画系随吴镜汀学习山水画。新中国成立后由北平国立艺专墨画科转入中央美术学院的绘画系,学习年画及油画,曾师从徐悲鸿、李可染等画家,毕业分配到天津大学任美术教师。1979年借调到文化部中国画创作组专职从事美术创作,1980年应聘为日本国立筑波大学艺术系客座教授,讲授中国书画诗词。曾任中国书法家协会副主席,天津大学教授。
Wang Xuezhong, born in 1925 in Tengxian, Shandong Province, was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting at Jinghua Fine Arts Academy in Beijing in 1942 to study landscape painting with Wu Jingting. After the founding of New China, the Peking National Arts Ink Painting Department transferred to the Central Academy of Fine Arts Department of Painting, studying New Year paintings and oil paintings, who studied under the artist from Xu Beihong, Li Keran and other graduates assigned to Tianjin University as art teacher. In 1979, he was seconded to the Department of Chinese Painting of the Ministry of Culture for a full time art creation. In 1980, he applied for a visiting professor at the Art Department of Japan’s State University of Tsukuba and taught Chinese calligraphy and painting poetry. Former vice president of China Calligraphers Association, Tianjin University professor.
