东港开发区是经浙江省人民政府批准的省级经济开发区,是一项利用海涂,开发海洋,围海造地,解决城市发展用地,建设综合性滨海新城的宏大工程。开发区规划总用地12km2,其中一期规划用地4km2;二期规划用地4.5km2;三期规划用地3.5km2。工程项目从1991年起开发建设至今,一期工程建设已基本完成,二期工程建设正在有条不紊地进行,社会效益、经济效益和环境效益不断提高。通过十年来的工程建设实践,在海涂回填的基础上,确保市政道路建设,降低工程成本,保证工程质量,积累了一定的施工经验和理论依据。
Donggang Development Zone is a provincial-level economic development zone approved by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province. It is an ambitious project to build a comprehensive coastal city with the use of tidal flats, the development of the sea, the reclamation of the sea and the land for urban development. The planning area of the development zone covers a total area of 12km2, including 4km2 for the first phase and 4.5km2 for the second phase and 3.5km2 for the third phase. Since 1991, the project has been under development and construction so far. The first phase of construction has been basically completed and the second phase of construction is being conducted in an orderly manner. The social, economic and environmental benefits are continuously improving. Through ten years of construction practice, based on the seafloor backfill, we have ensured the construction of municipal roads, reduced the construction cost and ensured the construction quality. We have accumulated some construction experience and theoretical basis.
