中央十五届六中全会通过的《中共中央关于加强和改进党的作风建设的决定》指出,“密切联系群众,反对形式主义、官僚主义”是当前和今后一个时期党的作风建设的一项主要任务。密切联系群众就是要始终不渝地贯彻党的群众路线,广泛深入地动员广大职工群众,把党的方针政策落到实处,坚定不移地维护广大职工群众的切身利益。群众路线是我们党的根本路线,也是工会的生命线,工会的工作任务不管怎么变化,时代不管怎样发展,离开职工群众,工会就会成为无源之水,无本之木。工会具有密切联系职工群众的优势。工会是在党的领导下,依法建立的职工群众自愿结合的工人
