2002年夏在布鲁塞尔北约总部,德国海军工业界的代表就与水雷战有关的挑战问题作出演示,并指出下一代水雷战平台的舰壳材料的选择是个主要问题。文章就反水雷舰艇壳体的几种不同材料作出详细分析,并罗列其优缺点。作者根据不同材料的性能比较,认为NMST舰壳材料的优越性已被证明,作为一种参考,它也许会成为一种最合适、最可行的选择。
Representatives of the German naval industry at the NATO headquarters in Brussels in the summer of 2002 demonstrated the challenges associated with mine warfare and pointed out that the choice of ship hull materials for the next generation of mine warfare platforms is a major issue. The article makes a detailed analysis of several different materials of the shell of a mine-sweetening vessel and lists its advantages and disadvantages. Based on the performance comparison of different materials, the author believes that the superiority of NMST ship shell material has been proved, and as a reference, it may become the most suitable and feasible option.
