清代著名戏剧家方培成的《雷峰塔》传奇,是一部具有神话色彩的爱情悲剧。作者在前人创作的基础上,创造性的塑造了一个美丽、聪明、善良、勇敢,对待爱情矢志不移的反叛者——白娘子。对于这一形象,该作品完全涤荡了前人对她的妖气化处理,赋予了她人的性格与特征。剧中的白娘子为了追求爱情理想而做出了激荡人心的反抗与斗争,最终却仍摆脱不了悲剧结局。这其中蕴涵着深刻的意义:揭露并批判了封建伦理道德规范对女性追求美好纯洁爱情的钳制,对女性自我意识苏醒的压抑,对人性的禁锢和摧残。本文将从白娘子的美貌,为爱执著的斗争,以悲剧结局的深沉意义三个方面来论述白娘子这样一个妖所具有的人的性格以及她所表现出的人性力量。
The legendary “Leifeng Pagoda” by Fang Peicheng, a famous dramatist of the Qing Dynasty, is a mythical love tragedy. Based on his predecessors’ creation, the author creatively created a beautiful, intelligent, kind-hearted, courageous and resolute rebel against the love of the White Snake. For this image, the work completely cleanse the previous demonized her treatment, given her personality and characteristics. The White Snake in the play in order to pursue the ideal of love and made a stirring rebellion and struggle, but ultimately still can not get rid of the tragic end. This implies a profound meaning: to expose and criticize the feudal ethics and moral norms on women’s pursuit of a beautiful and pure love of the restraint, regain the self-consciousness of women’s repression, detainment of human nature and destruction. This article will discuss the human nature of a woman such as the White Snake and the humanity strength she presents from three aspects: the beauty of the White Snake, the struggle for love, and the deep meaning of the tragic ending.
