党的十三届四中全会以来,党中央重新确立了思想政治工作应有的地位,思想政治工作要发挥应有的作用。改革的不断深化,经济的飞速发展,既为我们做好思想政治工作创造了良好的环境和条件,也不断为我们提出新的课题和任务。思想政治工作的理论研究本身必须适应新的情况和任务,不断总结、改进,深入发展,不能停留在原有的水平上。
