在新世纪的前后,全球最受瞩目的电影《卧虎藏龙》是少数票房和奖项成正比的电影,在全球都获得一致的好评。它改编自民国时期王度卢的著名武侠小说,导演李安居于美国,却一直以精通传统文化著称,有许多可供改编的武侠题材,李安为何看中这本书,因为这本书有着武侠小说中不常见的阴郁,李安想在武侠片中表现一个人的心理困境问题。从表现压抑情绪来说,新派武侠片就有点亮丽,李安以往的影片总在寻求人的共性,他借用一段历史的压抑情调,也许在所有中国人的记忆与想象中,清末是最为压抑的时代,因而用这一时代的氛围来塑造人物,《卧虎藏龙》可以说是一部充满中国风情与绚烂怀想的电影。

It is adapted from Wang Dulu’s famous martial arts novel in the Republic of China. Director Ang Lee lives in the United States but has always been known for its mastery of traditional culture. There are many martial arts themes that can be adapted for this book. Why Ang Lee is fancy about this book because it has Unusual gloomy martial arts novels, Ang Lee wanted to show a person in the martial arts psychological problems. From the performance of repressive emotions, the new martial arts film is a bit bright, Ang Lee’s previous films are always seeking common people, he borrowed a history of depression, perhaps in all Chinese memory and imagination, the Qing Dynasty is the most repressed Era, and thus use the atmosphere of this era to create characters, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” can be said to be a movie full of Chinese style and gorgeous dreams.
