1982年镇江市蔬菜所从我国东北地区引进“红丰”毛豆,经多年试验、示范,该品种已成为镇江市郊县早毛豆主栽品种。1985～1987年,已有30多个单位从我市引种。如上海市金山、嘉定、上海县以及安徽和县、江西九江、江苏扬州市郊的推广面积都在100亩左右.一、特征、特性“红丰”毛豆株高40～55厘米,主茎节位8～10节,分枝力弱,尖叶,有限结荚,以主茎结荚为主。花为白色,青荚绿色,荚上茸毛为灰白色,豆粒圆鼓,青荚出豆率高,达52～58%,因此商品性好,
