由北京市体委、市文化局、团市委联合举办了历时两天的一九八三年农民武术比赛。来自海淀、通县等三个区四个县的五十名男、女运动员(每个区、县最多限报九名)进行了一百零九项不同风格和特点的传统拳、长拳、短兵(刀、剑)、长兵(枪、棍)及对练的比赛。比赛结果,共有四十九人次获奖,其中一等奖十二名、二等奖十五名、三等奖二十二名。这次农民武术比赛,对北京市远近郊区的农村进一步开展健康的体育活动,抵制精神污染将起到很好的推动作用。
By the Beijing Municipal Sports Commission, Municipal Bureau of Culture, the Communist Youth League organized a two-day peasant Wushu Competition of 1983. Fifty men and women athletes from four counties in Haidian and Tongxian counties (up to nine in each district and county) conducted 109 traditional and punches of different styles and characteristics, Short soldiers (knives, swords), long soldiers (guns, sticks) and match the game. A total of 49 awards were received, including 12 first prizes, 15 second prizes and 22 third prizes. The peasant wushu competition will further promote healthy physical activity in the rural areas far and near Beijing and resist the mental pollution and will play a very good role in promoting it.
