在世界发展的意义上,中国的乡村代表着一种类型,这种类型并非意味着它是属于某种进化阶段中的某个必然或不可或缺的环节,或者某种目的论意义上的世界体系中的所谓世界中心的依赖或者依附。中国的乡村就是这个乡村本身,它有它自身在时空关联上的独特性,也有其时空背景下的发展性,更有其历史传统上的绵延性,并在一种社会与文化的特性上具体地表现出来,它是一种场景性依赖而非体系性依赖,因此才有存在于其中的人在历史的连续性的瞬间所制造出来的
