利用分离器检查蘑菇菌种害螨，方法简便有效。菌种内害螨分离时间随菌种料量、光照度而不同。在分离器上按装２５Ｗ和４０Ｗ灯泡，放置１００克菌种料，分离４８小时即可。检查棉塞内害螨，１５Ｗ、２５Ｗ和４０Ｗ灯泡均适用，单塞分离时间２４小时。害螨在菌种料中的数量与棉塞中的分布数量具有显著相关性，通过换塞检查即可确定菌种内带螨与否。换塞检查步骤为：棉塞高温高压灭菌，用以代换原棉塞，其外部用纸包扎，在室温下放置７～１０天，然后取棉塞在分离器中检查
