本文对西部地区高校图书馆与公共图书馆在开展地方文献工作的情况做了比较,得出高校图书馆从事这项工作的优劣势。据此提出,高校图书馆应根据自身特点做好地方文献收藏工作,应根据自身优势,开发出高层次的资源,满足高校教师及社会的需要。同时,应加强馆际协作工作,与各文献单位共同做好一个地区的地方文献工作。
This article compares the situation of carrying out the local literature work between the university library and the public library in the western region, and draws the advantages and disadvantages of the university library in doing this work. Accordingly, the university library should do a good job of collecting local literature according to its own characteristics, and should develop high-level resources according to its own advantages to meet the needs of university teachers and the society. At the same time, we should strengthen the inter-disciplinary cooperation and jointly do a good job of documentation of local literature in a certain area with various literature organizations.
