李德洙主任在考察江西民族工作时指出:民族工作社会化是新形势下民族工作的一种新模式,值得全面总结和推广10月22日至25日,中共中央统战部副部长、国家民委主任李德洙在国家民委经济司司长赵显人等陪同下来到江西,先后到九江、吉安、井冈山等地民族乡、村视察民族工作。李德洙主任指出:江西的民族工作在省委、省政府的重视和领导下,高举邓小平理论伟大旗帜,全面贯彻“三个代表”重要思想,适应新形势,创新工作机制,谋图新思路,及时转变工作思路和工作职能,积极争取社会各方面的力量支持民族工作,参与民族工作,使民族工作从以“部门推进”为主,转变为以“社会推进”为主,将散杂居地区的民族工作方式从传统单一的部门化,向系统的社会化转变,从而充分地发挥了民委的服务、协调、综合职能,使民族工作创造出了新成绩,使民族地区发生了新变化;民族工作社会化是一条很好的思路,是一条好经验,也是新形势下民族工作的一种新模式,值得全面总结和推广。
