必要的退出风险投资最终是要从所投资的公司中“撤出”的。即风险投资在所投资公司中占有的股份最终是要被风险投资者在适当的时机转让给他人或上市的。可见,风险投资者的主要目的是通过将企业以上市、并购等形式出售,从而得到高额的回报,实现其利润最大化的目标。为了实现投资者的目的,这就要求市场上有健全的退出机制,让投资者能够顺利地把资金撤出。
