永远不要忘记:美国的形成并非由于移民定居,而是由于征服。这个征服过程,有时发展迅速,有时缓慢。最终欧洲人的数量超过了当地原住民,随之问题就产生了——印第安人的问题。北美的印第安人问题可以追溯到1492年,一直延续到了现在。这个问题有多种类型:如何对待那些怀有敌意的印第安人?如何对待那些希望被美国社会接纳的友善的印第安人?如何对待贫穷的印第安人?如何对待富裕的印第安人?(欧塞奇1部落就遇到了这一类型的问题,俄克拉荷马州政府试图攫取他们的赌场利润并撤销他们的保留地。)
Never forget that the formation of the United States is not due to the immigrants settling in, but to the conquest. This process of conquest sometimes develops rapidly and sometimes slowly. Eventually the number of Europeans exceeded that of the indigenous peoples, and problems ensued - Indians. The problem of Indians in North America dates back to 1492 and continues into the present. There are many types of questions: how to deal with hostile Indians? How to deal with friendly Indians who want to be accepted by American society? How to deal with poor Indians? How to treat affluent Indians? (Osage 1 Horde encountered this type of problem, the Oklahoma state government trying to grab their casino profits and withdraw their reservation.
