一般认为肥胖的原因是:①在肝和脂肪组织中脂肪合成亢进;②血中脂肪向脂肪细胞沉积加速;③脂肪组织中脂肪分解被抑制。作者认为破坏下丘脑腹内侧核(VMH)的下丘脑性肥胖的原因是高胰岛素血症。由于此症患者的脂肪组织中脂肪合成亢进,脂蛋白脂肪酶活性升高等,从而导致脂肪积蓄。以往Karakash氏用肝脏灌注实验,Katz氏用离体肝细胞实验对VMH被破坏的白鼠肝内的脂肪
