肯尼斯·雷克思罗斯(Kenneth Rexroth,1905—1982)是美国后现代诗歌的代表人物,文学史上往往称其为“垮掉派之父”。他在诗歌创作、诗学理论方面均有一定建树。晚年的雷克思罗斯宁静、洒脱,将兴趣点转入东方文化,并全心致力于汉诗的英译工作。这样一个热爱中国文化,在文学和翻译领域颇有成就的诗人背后也同样隐匿着一段段传奇故事。笔者始终希望能够透过他琐碎而细腻的往事来追寻诗人作为普通人的情感生
Kenneth Rexroth (1905-1982) is a representative of postmodern American poetry, and is often referred to as the “father of the Beatitudes” in the history of literature. He has made some achievements in poetry creation and poetics theory. In his later years, Lexus Rose quiet, free and easy, the points of interest into Eastern culture, and wholeheartedly committed to the English poetry translation work. Such a poet who loves Chinese culture and has achieved great accomplishments in the fields of literature and translation also hides a section of legendary story. I always hope that through his trivial and delicate past to pursue the poet as an ordinary person’s emotional life
