一九八五年九月,一个收获的金秋,新疆维吾尔自治区成立三十周年大庆的前夕,在被称为“戈壁明珠”、“绿色宝石”的石河子市中心的游憩广场上矗起由鲁迅美术学院雕塑系四位教师张玉礼、杨美应、陈绳正、张秉田创作的三座大型圆雕:《先辈》、《清泉》和《绿风》。三者的位置呈等腰三角形,遥相呼应,在绿树花丛中格外醒目,吸引着人们前来观赏拍摄。如今,它们已成为该市有影响的“知名人物”,被写进诗行里,描绘在画面上,摄进镜头中,载入频道里,给新城增添了美感、欢乐和光彩。
