高职院校英语教学工作主要包括基础英语和行业英语的教学工作两大部分。高职院校的本职工作就是为社会培养实用型的人才,而英语是当今社会学生在就业时所必不可少的基本技能之一。因此,在教学工作中,如何实现基础英语教学工作向行业英语教学工作的过渡是高职院校在教学工作中所要研究的重点内容之一。本文从教师、学生及教材教法三大方面入手,以高职院校英语教学工作的现状为出发点,就高职院校英语教学工作中存在的问题提出具体解决方案,为高职院校提出有针对性的开展行业英语的改进方案。
English teaching in higher vocational colleges mainly includes the teaching of basic English and industrial English.
