研究吴冠中对于20世纪中国现代艺术所做的贡献,无疑在上个世纪70年代末,他对于“形式美”与“抽象美”的研究与大力提倡并且身体力行,吴冠中承续了由林风眠开创的20世纪中国水墨画的现代性的历史,为中国美术在20世纪80年代的向现代转型奠定了坚实的基础。吴冠中强调绘画的形式美和抽象美,实则是让形式服从内心表达的自由,意在具象与抽象之间,趣在写形与抒情之际,在形式与抽象之间敞开心灵的表现。
Studying Wu Guanzhong’s contribution to Chinese modern art in the 20th century undoubtedly made great contribution to the research and promotion of “formal beauty ” and “abstract beauty ” in the late 1970s, and Wu Guanzhong continued from The history of the modernity of 20th century Chinese ink and wash created by Lin Fengmian lays a solid foundation for the transformation of Chinese art to the modern era in the 1980s.
