说起来有些让人吃惊——马的历史比人类的历史还要早5000多万年!而毫无意外的是,据史料考证:人类最早驯化的一种动物就是马。山东章丘龙山镇城子崖的考古发现证明,4000多年前的先民已开始有意识地养马。这与古籍中“相土作乘马”的记载的时间差不多。在冷兵器时代,人与马所组成的骑兵部队是最具威慑力的军事力量,几千年的刀光剑影中无数匹马和人一起创造历史。成吉思汗的铁骑横扫欧亚两大洲时,让人们更深刻地认识到,没有任何动物像马这样深入地影响着人的历史。
Somewhat surprisingly speaking, the history of horses is more than 50 million years earlier than the history of mankind! And no accident, according to historical research, that one of the earliest domesticated animals was a horse. The archeological discovery of Chengziya in Longshan Town, Zhangqiu County, Shandong Province proves that the ancestors who started more than 4,000 years ago have started to consciously raise their horses. This is almost the same as in ancient books. In the era of cold weaponry, the cavalry force formed by humans and horses was the most deterrent military force. For thousands of years, numerous horses and people created history together. Genghis Khan's cavalry swept the two continents of Europe and Asia, so that people realize more deeply that no animals like horses so profoundly affect the history of mankind.
