内蒙古自治区是我国第一个成立的少数民族自治区,在党的民族政策光辉照耀下,走过了50年光辉历程。经过各族人民艰苦努力,全区水利建设事业取得了巨大成就,发生了历史性的伟大变化。 内蒙古地处祖国北疆,是典型的干旱、半干旱地区,水资源贫乏,而且时空分布不均,十年九旱,年年春旱,水旱灾害频繁。自治区成立50年来,国民经济和社会的发展,特别是农牧业生产的发展,都得益于水。水利建设成就辉煌,功不可没。
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is the first minority autonomous region established in China. Under the brilliant shining of the party’s national policy, it has gone through 50 years of glorious history. After the arduous efforts of people of all ethnic groups, great achievements have been made in the cause of water conservancy construction throughout the region, and great historic changes have taken place. Inner Mongolia is located in the northern part of the motherland. It is a typical arid and semi-arid area where water resources are scarce, and its spatial and temporal distribution is uneven. Nine years of drought and 10 years of drought occur each year. Floods and droughts are frequent.
