作为我国硫铁矿主要生产基地之一的山西，硫铁矿资源分布广，储量大。近年来，其开采业迅猛发展，１９９５年硫铁矿产量近２５０万ｔ。但同时也在资源、管理、产品价格、资金等方面存在着很多阻碍其发展的困难与问题。通过全面规划、合理布局，调整有关政策、健全管理制度，加强有关科学研究工作，将是实现可持续稳定发展可行之对策。
As one of the main production bases of pyrite in China, pyrite resources are widely distributed and large in reserves. In recent years, its mining industry has developed rapidly. In 1995, the output of pyrite reached nearly 2.5 million tons. At the same time, however, there are still many difficulties and problems hindering its development in resources, management, product prices and funds. Through comprehensive planning, rational distribution, adjustment of relevant policies, sound management system and strengthening of relevant scientific research will be feasible measures to achieve sustainable and stable development.
