分月扇舟蛾越冬代幼虫，多数在树下枯枝落叶层、地缝里等隐蔽处越冬，少数在树缝等处越冬，故调查该虫翌春上树进度可给防治策略提供科学依据。调查认为分月扇舟蛾越冬代幼虫上树进度为：初期４月１６—１８日，盛期４月２５—２７日，盛末期５月２—４日。所以，最佳防治时间定为：地面喷药防治５月１—１５日，毒笔涂环防治４月１０—１５日为好，不宜过早。
