South Korea’s Samsung will release the industry’s first wearable chip - the biological processor (Bio-Processor). The chip has a multi-function, can monitor human heart rate, body fat content, skeletal muscle mass, skin temperature and skin stress and other parameters. The Bio-Processor uses the analog front-end (AF E) technology and the bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology to process the detected analog signals for data acquisition.
