大戟科大戟属多肉植物品种十分丰富,但外形酷似球形仙人掌的品种并不多,所以这些球形品种被视为珍贵种,而它们又出现的缀化变异,自然更加珍贵。这些缀化变异种大都出自国内规模化种植的场圃。从鉴赏的角度看,它们比球形种更珍奇。一是缀化变异种变异的机率非常低,有时要几十万株甚至几百万株才可能产生一株(这里指的是播种,如果嫁接,变异的机率就比较多)。二是缀化种比原种株体更大(成型株),有的甚至长大十多倍,所以显得比原种更加壮观珍奇。三是缀化种体形多变,有时会令人难以分辨,吸引爱好者猎奇。总之,物以稀为贵,物以异为奇。这里我介绍几种大戟科大戟属球形品种及其缀化品种,供大家欣赏。也许有朋友要问,这些球形种及缀化品种好栽培吗?应该说栽培一般大戟科植物并不难,只要注意越冬防冻就可以,但球形种特别是缀化种的栽培就不一样了。如果用*
