“有偿新闻”的泛滥是新闻腐败的一个突出表现,其危害性也是显而易见的。近几年,它有了新变种,那就是“有偿不闻”。“有偿不闻”是指一些单位和个人为了掩盖其丑事,用钱“摆平”媒体,而媒体在得“偿”之后,对本该进行舆论监督的人或事“睁只眼闭只眼”,甚至根本不报道,不曝光。还有人美其名曰“负面效果影响双赢”。如果说“有偿新闻”是花钱买出名,那么“有偿不闻”则是花钱堵批评。尽管二者形式不同,但性质是一样的,都是用金钱来玷污新闻。“有偿不闻”一个最典型的例
