热处理学报经过筹备终于诞生了,值得祝贺。热处理在我国具有攸久的历史。我国早期著作如《天工开物》、《梦溪笔谈》等对热处理在我国的成就已有阐述。但是,在我国,开展热处理方面的科学研究还是解放以后的事。1963年中国机械工程学会热处理学会在武汉成立,对我国热处理专业的发展起了积极的促进作用。“四人帮”横行时期,热处理事业受到摧残,学会被迫停止工作。在“四人帮”被粉碎后,经过广大热处理工作者的积极努力,取得了较大成就。1979年在杭州举行年会的盛况充分说明了这一点。使我受到鼓舞的是:有不少工作已经结出了丰硕的果实。随着近代火箭、宇航、超声速飞机、高参数锅炉和汽轮机、原子能动力工业等的发展,
