几年来,在《中共中央关于教育体制改革的决定》指引下,我厅各级领导不断提高对职教工作重要性的认识,加强对职业技术教育工作的领导,努力办好交通学校、技工学校,积极创办职业技术学校,大力发展电视中专和高等职业技术教育,取得了一定的成绩。目前,我厅直属单位普遍建立了职教管理机构,有专职干部近百人,各类学校36所,“六五”期间职教工作初获成果,交通学校毕业970人,培训224人;交通技校毕业706人,培训2,132人,运用多种形式开展在职职业技术培训,
