党的十四大以来,我国改革开放和经济建设进入了以建立社会主义市场经济体制为主要内容的新的发展阶段。我们必须正确认识和处理社会主义精神文明建设与社会主义市场经济发展的辩证关系,在理论和实践的结合上,把社会主义精神文明与社会主义市场经济协调起来,以保证我国社会主义现代化建设的健康发展。这是当前全党面临的一项十分重要而紧迫的任务。
Since the 14th CPC National Congress, China’s reform and opening up and economic construction have entered a new stage of development with the establishment of a socialist market economic structure as the main content. We must correctly understand and handle the dialectical relationship between the socialist spiritual civilization and the development of the socialist market economy. On the combination of theory and practice, we must reconcile the socialist spiritual civilization with the socialist market economy so as to ensure the socialist modernization in our country healthy growth. This is a very important and urgent task now facing the entire party.
