连续采煤机既可用于采煤又可用于煤巷掘进。文章介绍了连续采煤机和掘进机结构上的区别及连续采煤机在我国的使用情况，对两者的优缺点进行了比较，进而对连续采煤机的适用性进行了分析。
Continuous shearer can be used for coal mining can also be used for coal heading. This paper introduces the structure difference between continuous shearer and roadheader and the use of continuous shearer in our country. The advantages and disadvantages of the two are compared and the applicability of continuous shearer is analyzed.
