《沙乡年鉴》是奥尔多·利奥波德的一部自然随笔集,书中阐明的自然主义立场和生态伦理学观点,有别于缪尔的自然主义文学观和梭罗的超验主义自然观。在利奥波德看来,人类只有与土地上的一切都成为共同体一员的感受时,才会承担得起共同体公民角色,才能真正实现自然保护主义理想。可以说,正是从利奥波德开始,美国自然主义写作才摆脱了人类中心论的桎梏,踏上真正的生态哲学之路。
