野山楂,俗名牧虎梨,蔷薇科山楂属落叶小乔木。性喜光,也稍耐阴,耐旱,耐寒,耐贫瘠土壤。在湿润且排水良好的微酸性土壤中生长最好。它树龄长,叶小,花繁果丰,有白花、红花,还有红果、黄果、紫红果等变种,是制作果树盆景的好素材。《珠联璧合》垂枝式野山楂盆景(如图)是我第一次尝试创作的。我的体会是:
