我国民主监督一直以来是参政党参政的薄弱环节,其实效性不足主要没有很好的根据民主监督的特点,遵循监督规律来设计制度。我国应结合参政党民主监督的特点,从保证参政党的独立性、加强监督的动力、加强监督的约束性、执政党对民主监督的配合性制度安排、加强民主监督制度的法制化等方面进行制度改革。
