1.植根故土不离母语从1957年上海音乐学院毕业算起,至今三十七年,一直从事中国新音乐创作,终身以此为理想和目的。回顾过去,在创作道路上可说是没有迷途与傍徨。因为一开始就已确定要走的方向,树立了信心和勇气去实践,而且数十年来都经常警惕自己勿做寄生异株的花草,在众多西方音乐流派的现实里没有成为随波逐流的浮萍。我的音乐创作有自己深长的根,故土的民间音乐就是自己创作生成的土壤。民间音乐可说是我的创作
