由我校农学系许萱教授主持的国家自然科学基金课题《环境生态因素对棉铃发育的影响——温度、水分与棉铃发育的关系》,于1993年5月14日在陕西省教委主持下通过鉴定,专家一致认为:该项目全面系统地研究了温度、水分与棉铃发育的关系,基本上搞清了棉铃各部分的动态发育过程,探索出一些在理论和生产实践上具有重要意义的关键性的科学结论:①温度在20℃以上有利于棉铃发育,19~18℃对棉铃发育已有抑制作用,17℃抑制明显,15℃是棉铃发育趋于停止的临界温度。生产上要取得较高的铃重,棉铃必须在日均温稳定通过15℃的终止期以前至少要有50天的发育时间。②在开花结铃期,土
