Today I want to talk about the achievements in the history of American automobiles. This topic makes me uncomfortable because, I hate American cars. To be precise, few modern cars have been able to penetrate my eyes since the mid-1990s. Personally, I think the real automobile manufacturing era ended after Mclaren F1 (1992-1998) was born. I really appreciate the Porsche 911 from 1968 to 1973, and I was fascinated by the simple lines, the simple design and the very reliable performance. Although I was born in the United States, I was never interested in those muscle cars. If you have to talk about the achievements of the American automotive industry, then I can only think of one person: Carroll Shelby.
