The Pakistani President held the inauguration of the Jasmas Hydropower Project with an investment of about 300 million U.S. dollars for a duration of 11 la and an installed capacity of 184 MW. According to WAPDA, the project includes eight 2 MW 3MW bulb turbine generator sets, two of which have been put into operation and the remaining six will be put into operation in July 2001. Jasmass Power Station is a run-of-river project
