钟耀华是我国早期的少数几个城市规划专家之一。他留学美国哈佛大学,专修城市规划。抗战胜利后,任职于赵祖康负责的上海市工务局和上海市都市计划委员会,与陆谦受、鲍立克、金经昌、黄作燊、程世抚等参与编制上?际屑仆甲芡汲醺濉⒍寮叭?其间曾负责编制《闸北西区支区计划》,在这些规划中他们应用及传播了有机疏散,卫星城镇,邻里单位等新的规划理论。
Zhong Yaohua is one of the few urban planning experts in China in the early days. He studied at Harvard University in the United States, specializing in urban planning.
