红斑狼疮病是一种表现为多脏器多系统损害的全身免疫性疾病。临床表现形式繁多,一般出现发热、皮疹、关节疼痛、咽痛、失眠多梦、疲乏无力、脱发等症状,以15岁至35岁妇女发病多见。目前,国外对此病无特效药,只能用激素控制。但长期服用激素,毒副作用大,病情易复发,病人极其痛苦。因此,寻找一种替代激素的纯中药制剂治疗红斑狼疮病,已成为我国医学界广大医务工作者孜孜以求的难题。
