西班牙穆尔西亚粮农发展研究院(IMID)近年来一直致力于培育能够较好地适应当地土壤和气候条件同时又能满足儿童消费需求的低酸油桃品种。该研究院每年进行大量杂交,获得了不少杂交后代,其中包括质地较好的红皮白肉和红皮黄肉桃品种,这些品种都比较耐运输。不过,2012年选育出来的油桃新品种“Mistral 30”则让育种工作见到了曙光。Mistral 30感官品质较好,果面无毛,食用起来方便,酸含量低,小孩肯定喜欢。该品种已经开始在农户中推广,明年有望结出第一批果实。
In recent years, IMID has been working to cultivate a variety of low-acid nectarines that can better adapt to local soil and climatic conditions while meeting children’s consumption needs. The institute conducts a large number of crosses each year, obtaining many hybrid offspring, including better-textured red white meat and red-yellow peach varieties, all of which are more resistant to transport. However, the new nectarine variety “Mistral 30” bred in 2012 saw the dawn of breeding work. Mistral 30 Sensory quality is better, the surface is glabrous, easy to use, low acid content, children certainly love. The breed has already started to be popularized among farmers, and the first batch of fruit is expected to come out next year.
