著名的老作家姚雪垠同志，在与《光明日报》高级记者陈英茨同志的这次谈话里，对郭沫若同志《甲申三百年祭》一文中的某些重要史实与论断，提出疑议。并说，他的这些疑议，曾致信郭沫若请教，得到郭的赞同。这些情况，过去未公开发表过。现在发表出来，估计会对“甲申”的研究起到积极作用；也会引起有心人的兴趣。姚雪垠与记者还就李自成的悲剧，谈到了今日我党我国反腐倡廉这个大问题，并对历史学学术领域进一步破除迷信、实事求是的问题，谈了自己的一些看法。编者以为这些看法和议论，也是很值得重视和深思的。这把文章是陈英茨同志在重病卧床期间特意为本刊写的，谨在此一并致谢。
