The 22nd biennial Congress on the Law of the World was held on September 4 through September 10,2005,in Beijing and Shanghai,China.More than 1,500 jurists,inspectors,scholars,lawyers and other delegates from more than 60 countries attended.They included chief justices or presidents of supreme courts of 34 countries,justices or vice-presidents of supreme courts from 25 countries,ministers of justice,chief procurators from six countries and senior officials from six inteational organizations.
