这些年来,一些顽固坚持资产阶级自由化立场的人,大肆宣扬脱离社会、脱离集体的所谓“自我价值观”,竭力蛊惑人们去“选择自我”,“设计自我”,“追求自我”,“实现自我”。一时之间,萨特、尼采等人的名字及其理论在中国大走红运,成为时髦。搞资产阶级自由化的人为什么要如此卖力地篼售“自我价值观”呢?说到底,他们是妄图用这个无限涨大的“自我”来取代社会主义制度下的集体主义价值取向,把人们引向资本主义的纯粹自我的死胡同。可以说,许多青年学生在去年那场动乱和反革命暴乱中之所以被人利用,其中一个很重要的原因就是受到了这种极端自私的“自我价值
