随着对船体线型的研究,出现了在船体艏部水线以下有个球形凸起物,通常称为“球鼻艏”的船体新线型。在商船及其它民用船只上,采用该形式结构主要是为了减少兴波阻力,以提高航速。在大中型水面舰船中,目前,也已采用“球鼻艏”结构。但其目的与商船完全不同,它是为了安装声纳装置的基阵。在舰船的球鼻艏部位,离舰船主要噪声源(螺旋桨;主、辅机舱)较远,是舰上较为“安静”之处。这里安装声纳,可以减少噪声干扰,充分发挥声纳的作用。只要对球鼻艏构架进行合理设计,满足声纳透声要求,装在球鼻艏的声纳装置就不必具有升降装置,从而使声纳结构简化。在球鼻艏中安装声纳基阵是较为合理的。
With the study of the hull line type, a new hull form of the hull, commonly known as “bulbous”, appeared below the waterline of the hull. In commercial vessels and other civilian vessels, this type of structure is mainly used to reduce the wave resistance to increase the speed. But its purpose is completely different from that of a merchant ship, which is to mount the array of sonar devices. Sonar installation here, can reduce noise interference, give full play to the role of sonar. As long as the design of the bulbous nasal cavity is reasonably designed to meet the sonar penetration requirements, the sonar installed in the bulb does not need to have a lifting device, so that the sonar structure is simplified. It is reasonable to install a sonar array in the ball.
