The national industry standard “Urban Sculpture Engineering Technical Regulations”, organized by China Architecture and Cultural Center (National Urban Sculpture Construction Steering Committee Office), was recently approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and will be implemented since June 1, 2017. Since the reform and opening up, our country has experienced the largest and fastest urbanization process in the history of the world. The construction of public art such as urban sculpture has shown a vigorous development. It has played an important role in promoting urban culture and shaping urban image. After the convening of the Central Cities Work Conference, the Central Committee attaches great importance to shaping urban features in the new-type urbanization
